1. ONE DRAW: Members play one eight-end or six-end game per week.
2. TWO DRAWS: MWThursF Tag Draw. Members can play any and all days if they sign up for two draws. MWF 1pm, Thurs. 11am will take place if enough interest. Please note at registration if you wish to curl Thursdays.
3. UNLIMITED: Members play in any number of leagues and spare in any league.
4. STUDENT: High school or post-secondary students who curl in one or more adult leagues.
5. JUNIOR: Elementary or High School students who curl only in the junior program.
6. SOCIAL: For those who have stopped curling but want to enjoy social activities, join committees, have voting privileges and support the club.
7. HALF YEAR: Members pay 60% of the regular fee. This membership can be applied to snowbirds that wish to split the year and curl before and after their trip. Half year members are entitled to 11 weeks of curling.
8. NEW MEMBER DISCOUNT: New members are offered a 25% discount on their membership fees. New members are those who have not curled at the club in the past two years or joined from a Learn to Curl program.
9. LEARN TO CURL: Participants may want to join a league for half-year beginning in January for an additional $100 + HST. This represents a $40 reduction to the regular fee.
10. DEBENTURE: In their 2nd year, all members (except Student, Junior & Social ONLY) are required to purchase a $50 Club Debenture.
11. VOLUNTEERS: All members are required to volunteer for a miniumum of 12 hours per season for full-year curlers and 8 hours for half-year curlers with the exception of Student, Junior, Learn to Curl and Social members. As many members do not have cheques, members who have not completed their required volunteer hours will be invoiced $100 in June 2027. Please remember to log your volunteer hours on your LOLCC membership page. If you are having trouble entering your hours, please let a member of the Executive know, and we will be happy to log them for you. If you do not wish to volunteer, you may choose to pay the $100 volunteer fee instead. 12. REFUNDS: Requests for refunds must be made in writing. Withdrawals after: 1st or 2nd month – 50%; 3rd – 40%, 4th – 20%, 5th – 0%.
13. GUEST CURLERS: Non-members are welcome to curl or spare in any league for a fee of $15 per visit, payable to the League Convenor. Non-members may participate as a guest curler or spare for a maximum of 5 visits per season. Club members may spare in any league at no cost. Thank you for helping us welcome guests while ensuring our league and club policies are followed.
